Registration for Summer 2025 Box Lacrosse
Registration
Summer Box lacrosse returns to Loveland.
For those players who are missing the feeling of a stick in your hand, and ripping shots past the goalie, we are happy to open registration once again for our wildly popular Summer Box Lacrosse program. Short field, quick sticks, fast paced and a ton of fun.
This will be organized Sunday night pick-up box lacrosse. We will have box goals, box goalies, box goalie gear, visible box shot clocks, certified box refs. We'll pick up teams and just play. No practices, just games. We keep it fun and inexpensive since it's summer and guys might need to miss a game or two.
Just need to bring your equipment: stick, cup, helmet, mouthguard, gloves, elbow/arm and shoulder pads. Ladies, if you want to throw on all of this protective gear and show the deep pocket boys a thing or two, you are welcome as well, but full equipment is required and the game is played as full contact.
Games will take place at the Loveland Outdoor Box Lacrosse Arena at Home of the Brave Park at 9085 Union Cemetery Rd, Loveland.
$75 for six weeks of games. Open to players from Rising 3rd graders to Rising 8th graders. Feel free to pass the info along to friends in other programs, as well.
Games will start on July 13th and run thru August 17th on Sunday evenings. Tentative times are: 3rd-5th graders at 6:00pm, 6-8th at 7:00pm.
You can register thru this link:
- During Registration, you will need to ensure that you have renewed or purchased a USA Lacrosse Membership. You should confirm/renew your membership status prior to beginning the registration process, as you will need your USA Lacrosse ID to complete registration. The USA Lacrosse site has about a 5-10 minute delay before it recognizes an updated membership. Your membership needs to be active thru the end of our season in May. Membership renewal or purchase is available at USA Lacrosse https://www.usalacrosse.com/membership
- Boys players: Please be aware that USA Lacrosse has mandated that all shoulder pads meet NOCSAE standard ND200, which reduces impact forces and thus the risk of commotio cordis (cardiac arrest due to a blow to the heart area). Shoulder pads meeting this standard have been available the last couple of years and will carry the logo below that shows compliance with the new standards. Your shoulder pads must have this certification to be legal for play after 2022. See below for the certification mark.
- Registration insurance (RegSaver) is offered via a third party during the registration process. The insurance provides a refund if your player misses part of all of the season due to injury. The third party (RegSaver) will send a confirmation email if you purchase the insurance that provides contact information for if a claim is needed. Please hold onto that email. Loveland Lacrosse does not have access to policy numbers or any part of the administration process for the insurance.
Thank you for your interest in Loveland Lacrosse.
Please follow our social media accounts for announcements about future opportunities to play (boys summer league, girls fall box, try it out days).
