Fall Box Lacrosse
The Loveland Girls Fall Box League is for beginners and experienced players. It is an excellent opportunity for kids playing other sports in the Spring to give lacrosse a try. It’s fun, laid-back (no practices) and FREE.
Sessions will be held at the Loveland Outdoor Box Lacrosse Arena located at 9805 Union Cemetery Rd. as follows:
Sundays in September (12th, 19th, 26th):
Grades 2-4 will be 3:00-4:00 PM
Grades 5-6 will be 4:00-5:00 PM
Middle School will be 5:00-6:00 PM
*** Players attending all 3 sessions will be entered into a raffle for lacrosse prizes.
No Experience needed. We will cover basic fundamentals for 30 minutes and then play "sticks-in" scrimmages for the remainder of the time. We hope these sessions will provide a laid-back and supportive environment for new players to try our awesome sport.
- Basketball players You’ll love lacrosse. It’s moving the ball down the field, using picks and rolls, skip passes and moving your feet to play defense.
- Soccer players You’ll love lacrosse. Similar field and positions, passing speed and movement with more chances for more players to score.
Fast Paced! Lacrosse offers a fast-paced game with some physicality but more of a focus on skill.
Great Crossover! Many multi-sport athletes learn to play lacrosse with immediate success.
