My kid is hooked. What other opportunities are there for more lacrosse?
Loveland Youth Summer Box League (Youth & middle & high school league)
We will likely go Sunday July 14, 21, 28, Aug 4, 11, 18. 6 weeks. ~$75.
Time: Early Evening
This will be organized Sunday night pick-up box lacrosse. We will have box goals, box goalies, box goalie gear, visible box shot clocks, box refs. We'll pick up teams and just play. No practices, just games with the fellas in your age group. We keep it fun and inexpensive since it's summer and guys might need to miss. It's a Loveland tradition, now in it's 17th summer.
Games are the Loveland Outdoor Box Lacrosse Arena at Home of the Brave Park on Union Cemetery Rd, Loveland.
Also, be looking out for the USBOXLA box lacrosse offerings this fall and winter. USBOXLA is the national body for box lacrosse development and runs a top-notch program. Can't say enough about how important playing box lacrosse is to a players development. If you are not playing box due to other sports conflicts, don't worry about it. if you are not playing box lacrosse due to not knowing enough about it, call me or visit Resolute Lacrosse (the local USBOXLA chapter). Box lacrosse is critical to being a solid field lacrosse player. I can't stress it enough.
